Yeah, another database dude!
All right, here we go. After haitus due to a mission i wrote a fab post yesterday, i swear. Then i got the dreaded computer lock, BOOM, BAM... gone! You do not become a Secret Agent by giving up easy, so i wrote another. It was even better then the 1st. Went to save my masterpiece and got an error page!! Decided to hell with being a computer geek and ran away. Well today im back, and this bastard better work.
I did manage to catch a Widespread Panic show last week. All of my worries about George are about gone. The kid can play. No one can replace Mikey, but George has been working on his licks. Seemed maybe his guitar was tuned a tad diff since last i saw them in 2003. Everyone in the band was enjoying themselves much more as well, JB and Schools laughing and playing off George, it was an amazing show. When the boys kicked it off with Pigeons>Pleas i knew it was going to be a great night.

So, on to the important stuff, like
The Destrucion of America as we knew it in the name of Freedom!
The Senate passed the War Funds Bill yesterday 100-0. Stuffed into that act was the REAL ID Act. I love this part,
"It's going to be not just a national ID card but a national database."
Great, just what i wanted to be part of, another DATABASE!!! As if our SS# wasnt abused enough. How is it that something that reaches this far into the everyday lives of Americans is attached to a War Spending Bill? Didnt this just happen a few months ago when drilling in Alaska was attached to some other budget bill? What scares me is that this seems to work. Isnt anyone paying attention? I guess in the eyes of the Senators, voting for a bill with 100 things in it makes it possible not take responsiblity or be accountable for any one thing it contains. Lawyers, gotta love em.
Not that the sheep are paying attention anyway, not that they even can. The media buried this story behind an off course Cesna that caused the evacuation of over 30,000 people in theCapital. The news whores were actually praising the half assed, reactionary action. Sure, now we can say it wasnt needed, hindsight is 20/20. Just seems we are saying that quite a lot these days. The #2 story was the Home Alone kid at the MJ trail testifying that he shared a bed with Jacko, but not like that!
Today in this CNN write up of GW signing the War Funds Bill, the REAL ID Act is danced around by saying this.
"It also prevents states from issuing driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.;"
What a crock.
