The greatest tournament in the world has started today. The World Cup, taking place in Germany this time around. 32 teams... 64 games... Whos gonna be the best the world?
Brazil is the favorite, and the Yanks, ranked #5 are in one of the toughest groups in the tournament. To top it off the winner of Group E will likely draw Brazil for their next game. Team USA really needs to beat the Czechs who are ranked #2, in game 1 on june 12th.

post a commentNot quite our tourney, I don't think. The team looked like complete shite, but I can't condone the coach calling individual players out for their play...it's a freakin' team sport. I'm not too hot on our coach after that.
I disagree, donovan and beasly sucked and deserved to be called out. I would dare to say beasly cost america the game with his horrible footwork and decisions. These guys are pros, who are on the world stage, everyone is calling them out. The coach had to as well.
USA lost the game on 2 mistakes. Keller and his rush to clear on #1, and Renya giving the ball away in his own end for #2.
Team USA played much better then they are bein given credit. They led in possesion all game, but could not finish. You have to shoot to score!!! CR is considered #2 in the world, USA was supposed to lose that game.
The Italy game has always been the one that matters.
